Darren tells Annie to take Darius and get the hell out of this town. Darren throws up and has this seizure but he makes it through. Darren does so, they join fingers and it’s incredibly painful. Darius asks to be blooded the old-fashioned way–finger-to-finger. Annie, after a lot of convincing, agrees. Darren tells Annie that he’ll transfer his blood to Darius so that he becomes a vampire. She freaks out but after a while, accepts what he says. Darren meets Annie and explains everything.

Instead, he and Vancha and Alice take him to see Annie because Darius has been blooded by a vampaneze and will have urges to feed (and he’ll drain bodies because, you know, vampaneze-blood). Harkat, Evra and Debbie go back to the Cirque du Freak. Steve escapes with the other vampaneze while our gang is sad and horrified by Shancus’ death.
